A Compendium of Annang Culture

The intention of this Compendium of Annang Culture is to have a collection of
opinions and ideas on the various and varying aspects of Annang ways of life.
Culture is never static. Quite often it must shade off its moribund elements and
launch itself into an orbit where it can rub shoulders with other cultures of the
world. In this sense culture can be considered as a metamorphosis. No
progressive culture exits entirely on its own. Culture has close afnity with the
history of the people who own that culture. And history itself is never an
exclusive property. It involves all the experiences of a people in the course of
their existence. Such experiences are all-encompassing involving certain
locations, people, events, objects, ideas and practices
